Can you please recommend the best weather information website from a gardening perspective or is the bbc, for example, as good as anything else

Don't say that Otherhalf signed for the lottie on Tuesday and I couldn't get any time off sooner so I've not been yet (apart from an inspection to make sure he was meeting my standards)
The weekend is supposed to be fine according to the beeb.Becky

It's different Piskie - this is the Metcheck site. If you put your postcode in the search box, they'll give you the weather in 3-hour intervals for the next 24 hours, or less detail up to 14 days away. Not sure if it's actually more accurate, it feels more accurate though
I tend to use the BBC rainfall satellite site in conjuction with the Metcheck site.

I use the BBC rarely, Metcheck all the time, and weather.co.uk as back-up. It makes no odds really - the weather stations they base their forecasts on, and it's distance from you is what makes the difference. The one they use for my area is 10 miles East of me - if the wind is blowing from the East I get the right forecast, if it's blowing from the West it's usually wrongLast edited by SarzWix; 15-10-2009, 06:07 PM.

always use met check and find it fairly accurate.
Also like the fact that the day is broken down into 3 hour chunks.
And when your back stops aching,
And your hands begin to harden.
You will find yourself a partner,
In the glory of the garden.
