no! The river by my plot regularly overflows in the spring ...not been here when it has snowed more than just a sprinkling - it shouldnt come up as far as the cultivated bit tho with a bit of luck.....good luck to everyone else who has rivers close by!
The snow has melted significantly since this time yesterday when I dragged 2 bags of seed potatoes to the lottie as I didn't think the car would get up the road; and we walked it again today and half the ice has gone.
It's sort of half snowing and half raining; and no doubt the Trent will be back up to dangerously high levels across the road in a few days time
