Well sleet anyway. Bitterly cold - doesn't seem to be settling (yet)

We had blizzards yesterday evening
( 2" in a couple of hours)
Then it warmed up and rained in the night...and now the sun is shining in between sleet/rain showers...I'm thinking that was the final blast of the cold snap- maybe this is what you're getting now?? just think- the sleet/rain should eventually melt the snow and ice!!

Snow disappeared here on Monday. had a wicked day yesterday with gale force winds and driving sleet. Rainy, and mucky but much milder today.

Our snow that had started to slushy yesterday froze over night then its snowed all day, so now we're back to having 6 or 7 inch of the stuff.
Just read on the BBC that there's been 70 crashes since midnight in Derbyshire.

I woke uo to 5 inches of snow this morning and it snowed until lunchtime. (See pics)
Hope this will be the last of it now, I'm fed up with shovelling snow and not being able to get to lottie. I would like to see some grass

Snow is really getting to me now, I run a small company and its getting silly now, we cannot deliver, so cannot earn, the situation is quite desperate, there is nothing you can do about it, we have moved delivery trips so often now we are losing the plot.Comment
