I have never seen so much snow in my life. We've between 1.5 and 2' of snow, where it's drifted and collected. Crazy. Utter, UTTER chaos. Tesco big lorry jackknifed across a roundabout, cars just left in the middle of roads, shops are EMPTY. Just mad, I can't believe it. I really hope I'm able to get out to collect our xmas shopping and meat!!

It's LOVELY out there today! We've had a good 15 to 20 cm in total, and all the muppets have stayed at home. I only saw three other vehicles on my way to the Stables, and two of them were Landies.

Our nearest large village has a broken water-main in the centre, on a hill. It's running water at the moment, but will be a real pain later.

Here ya go, this was my journey home from the Stables this morning.
This was the 'main' road. (And yes, I do have a 'dink' in my screen.)

The river Trent is lovely, I know because I have walked on it for 18 years.

Nope - no garage. Up tight against the fence but the snow blew in from t'other way, so made no difference. It's about 6" on the roof still. Bonnet is only clear coz the engine warmed up!

Its snowing here again today but nothing like the last lot we had.
