The field next to where I live always has about four come every year! I'm no where near the coast, so can't see why they come?

*Wonders* How long do they live? Surely, its highly unlikely that different Oyster Catchers would be utilising dodgy sat navs each year?
It varies between two and four.............wonders also, do they pair for life?
