oh ive heard alright about 10 times on the news and about 1000 times from my mum - 'i bet you we floods' etc
But it does look like we are in for a big storm - but to be fair what do we expect, we havent had much rain (in total) this year, so its all going to come at once by the sounds of it!

EDIT Just been out to empty pots and trays - must be an inch of water so far!! But its filling the water tank and I'll be able to flush the loos for free! There's always a positive
I must admit I am fairly Sanguine about this year now, they do say acceptance is the hardest part of admitting you have a problem
I believe they have coined the Term ''Global Weirding'' for all the odd changeable weather seen recently.
Oh well at least southern water have lifted the ludicrous drought order today....definately the wettest drought on record...we are all in the same ark...Everything has rotted or been eaten by biblical plagues of slugs and rodents.
Don't cry...have a stiff gin, plant some more stuff and pray for some summer sun.
Tipping it down here. Just wish I'd ordered a polytunnel the size of Dead Dogs now. I might as well give up on the allotment.
Every year I say that when my oriental poppies come out, Pattys Plum in particular, the rain comes and doesn't stop until they are destroyed. It has! Enough now!
