Thanks Nicos. I saw this a couple of days ago, then couldn't find the website again I'm so glad I don't live in a flood risk area (crosses fingers).

I live on the side of a lot of hills. Hope everyone there is safe. Our mountains are shocking atm. Really rocky as so much topsoil has washed out (what the motor bike riders haven't mushed up that is ;( )

Weird weather. So much more used to drought............not easier, just different, and not useful.

If so many of us live on the side of hills, who lives on the flat?

We live on the flat next to a brook a short distance from the sea. If the sea levels rise, we're doomed. But so far no floods. We have a big puddle at the bottom of the garden but not as big as the small pond we had a few years ago when we had the ducks swimming in it.

                          Top floor flat

A lot of rivers were flooded this morning on the way to work.

I don't live in a flat, I live on a flat flood plain between the river and the canal

And the drains in the road are so badly maintained I have to wade to the car after a downpour.

My bad but on the up side I may have the solution to your flooding potato crop problem
