VC and Mikey, you're worse than two kids........if you can't behave yourselves you can go to your rooms! But wipe that screen off first Mikey.
We're still gettiing minus' atm. I'm going to put some seed in and hope that whatever comes up is frost resistant. It's called gardening by the optimism method.

Some days it's hardly worth chewing through the restraints!

        Lalalalala!

Nicos how do you tell a 'proper frost' from an 'improper frost?' I'm not really sure what sort we've had now.

Te he.....My definition of a 'proper' frost is one which causes very tender plants to wilt and go all slimey Yuk.
I hate clearing up the slimey mess.

First the courgette plants - and now the nasturtiums....ewwww.

I never played doctor and nurses when I was little so I have no idea what it entails. If it was differential diagnosis then that might be fun.

You're never too old to start playing, AD
As for an "improper" frost............ that would mean it was too cold to play outside

As most of you know I started growing a bit late and transferred my runner beans from home when I got my allotment in late July. The shock of moving and the fear of the dreaded cold have really held them back.....

                            Therefore...

I have sent a letter to my local MP to bring the subject of our damned weather up at the houses of parliament next week. Hopefully our government will act fast on our behalf? if not I will take it to the high court and failing that, then Europe's finest will have to sort out the frost predicament!

My veggies are living things and for that reason they deserve to see out their life cycle! My efforts to grow them also mean that they deserve pride of place on my Christmas dinner plate!

Come on guys, if we all write in then maybe, just maybe the numpties will help out in our hour of need!

                            Chris

PS yes, I'm back. The voice of reason and all that. I have missed you all these past few nights.. I had to find a new car quickly and had some family issues to deal with. Apologies for my unauthorised absence.x
