2 cms snow overnight 11th March 2013, north Notts, snowing hard 7 a.m. this morning. With wind chill the temperatures today are forecast to feel like minus 5 to minus 7 C., daffodils are looking a bit surprised (as am I! ).

Not happy with this sudden u turn back to a cold snap. I take this week every year off work and use it to start my gardning year. Been mild for few years but today it's blooming freezing! Maybe I'll clean the greenhouse.Gardening forever- housework wheneverComment

We have a small dusting of snow and a hard frost this morning, perfect conditions for me. There's 3" of snow in Kells though and it's only 20 minutes up the road, that's where my digger is coming from so I don't know if it's going to get here.Comment
