Sorry AP but my other half's a gritter driver and he was out at 3am and will be back out at 6pm this evening. He doesn't do the A96 though, his route is more to the south.[/QUOTE]

Can you get him to make a wee diversion next time? Nobody would notice would they?

Been and almost gone here thank goodness. I thought we were in for a white out and although it fell thick and fast, it's thawing now. There are some bonuses - I took the afternoon off work to make sure I could get home!

Had about an inch in the early hours of the morning; half melted by lunchtime, then another inch in the last couple of hours - and it's still lightly snowing so probably another half-inch to an inch to come before it passes in a few hours time.

Yer we hav sner! Woke up to a very light sugary sprinkling, which had gone by late morning. However, it started coming down just before I walked the dawg. When we got back to the car an hour later everything was white. Including my woolly 'at.

I'm hoping we don't get much, as I have to be out early on the morrow.

We have had about 4 inches here and my 10 year old grandaughter has just called in on her way home.

Ditto with German Shepherds, they have a nasty habit of running behind you and biting your bum when you bend over to collect more snow. Canine comedienne.

Snowing in Bucksburn(Airport/western side of Aberdeen for you south folks) and no idea what the roads are like out about. My better half has apparently told her colleagues I will climb mountains, swim rivers in fact do anything to get out there and get her home. Aye, well that has still to be tested !!
