There is a gritting bin Jules - halfway down the road! This road is usually gritted as it leads to a telecomms mast at the top of the road and the reservoir opposite but not this time
Just above where I live the road is single track and quite steep - its a country road really. Lovely here when its fine but not today Still, only 5 weeks to March

Didn't we have Summer in March last year? I seem to recall two weeks of unfettered sunshine round about then. Looking forward to that, I can be awake, up & doing for 20 hours out of every 24 when it's light. Back along, June in Aberdeenshire and I was hardly in my bed - my favourite thing was gardening in my nightie. Cup of coffee in one hand, pottering around dead-heading and doing quiet garden jobs at 4am....wonderful!

I'm just grand. Can't get any crazier . Been working clearing desks etc from an office that is closing down. Had 7 desks in the back of my volvo estate, amazing how little space they take up when knocked flat . The snow is a pain though. The coolant sensor in the car has stopped working and I need to replace it as the heating doesn't work, making it difficult to defrost the screen etc. Don't want to become a walking snowman though so have to wait for a clear spell. Why they make these things so inaccessible though. I have to remove a shroud, then the thermostat housingbefore I can get a spanner on this thing which I can see. of course that means I need a new gasket for the thermostat housing before I can refit but does one come with the new sensor. I can just make one from a cereal packet but it takes extra time which may or may not be available depending on when the next drop of snow comes. Ihate being boxed up in the house though

Erkay...it's trying to sner. Temperature has dropped but the sner has made the ground wet, so it might not stick unless it gets colder. It think it's coming from SE Wales direction...Thanks Steve!
