  • first frost anyone????

I was just checking last night's temperature- and we had 3C

No wonder the French beans are going yellow

...maybe I need to get the fleece out for my toms?

Anyone else having very cold nights?...anyone had a hint of a frost yet???

Lowest so far was 10°. I am keeping an eye on it, ready with the fleece.
When weeding, the best way to make sure you are removing a weed and not a valuable plant is to pull on it.
If it comes out of the ground easily, it is a valuable plant.

Lowest here 9.3..........have closed a few windows that have been open for months - and I have a fleece ready for me, never mind the toms

11C in the greenhouse last night - I started shutting the doors up after tea just in time.

Our lowest GH temp was the night before last down to 9.3c that was the first time I'd closed the louvres and only left the door open a couple of inch.

I'm still waiting for the rest of the summer so it can't start to get frosty yet.

Nope! Still in the low 20s here during the day, and I think our lowest night temperature has been about 9 or 10.

Currently hot and sunny outside, still.

Supposedly not dropping below 10c overnight here til the weekend, but looks like the sun is gone for now.

Its 14.9 at the mo - I've been standing outside listening to the owls and waiting for the dogs to do their stuff

9 degrees lowest here when calm but with a breeze it's cold enough to close the doors on the kite.

I heard a forecast of 3c the other night, and didn't believe it (it's still 14c at night here, lovely)

We're still forecast to stay above 10c for the next couple of weeks at least, so I'm not bothering with anything yet.

Load of fog here this morning - quite cool out but still 11'C in the greenhouse with the door open.
