Last frost?

This might be a bit late for this year for some peeps....

I thought some people might like to make a note of their last few frosts so they have a record of their last few frost dates of the year as a comparison year on year?

just for your own records/ interest.



Latest frost for for us over the past 7 years has been 9 th June!

we had a light frost last night.

Interesting - April 6th for us down here, although I only have records back to 2010.
We have had snow in May, although it remained above freezing.
And according to the weather station, it was -61 on December 21st 2014

Legend has it that there was a brewer of beer who was losing a lot of sales to the cider makers, so he sold his soul to the Devil on condition that on three specific nights in May he would send frosts to destroy the apple blossom. The Devil was to send the frosts on the 17th, 18th and 19th of May.

So hopefully we should now be frost-free until winter

The French have Ice Saints...11,12,13th May.

there are not supposed to be frosts after that date.
