[QUOTE=Phreddy;121853]Someone said that our last rain was 17th May.
Bit cooler today, under 100.
Who is Denis Howell?
Minister apointed during 1976,(one of the driest on record) a day or so after being apointed the weather broke (it p****d it down)
Maybee a rain minister might do the opposite?
Ah! That Dennis Howell. I remember the politition but not the weather.
46 yesterday but lots cooler today with a nice cool breeze.
I find that the humidity comes from my pores!
It has bucketed down here today; lightning flashing and thunder cracking; streets were like rivers.
Temperature way down but it was all over in about 20 mins. Then it became warm again.
My house is in process of having a new roof and we had a little ingress of water but no real problem.
