Following a few nights of frost I decided to pick all my green outdoor tomatoes.
I've smugly been rather chuffed that this year we escaped both potato and tomato blight for the first time in 9years.
Imagine my shock when 4of my toms were showing first signs of blight
No point in storing them to ripen up now as they all could be infected....looks like lots of green tomato recipes are in order!
Has anyone else had blight this year -I had thought the very hot, dry summer had helped us escape the dreaded beast this year.
