    hi, anybody know the best way to keep cabbage white butterflies of cabbages as i had massive bother with them last season.

    I used Enviromesh over cloche hoops last season, well pegged down round the edges. It worked brilliantly, not a caterpillar in sight!
    I bought the mesh from Harrod Horticultural as you can buy it by the metre instead of a pre-set size

      thanks for that , is it true i heard a meathod to do with rhubarb leaves. Does anyone have auy info on this

        I think Terry Walton (Allotment bloke on Radio2) was trying something with rhubarb leaves on The Big Dig programme - he had them soaking in a bucket of water & sprayed the resulting smelly liquid over his cabbages. Can't remember if it worked or not though...

          I think your first suggestion sounds a better bet sarzWix i'll be trying that this year
          is spacetime curved or was einstien round the bend
