I really don't believe this. I'd planted some sprouted broad bean seeds in pots ready to move to the lottie, leaving them in the greenhouse to save them from the slugs - lo and behold when I check this morning, there are bits of root on the top of the compost - a furtle about later and there's not one bean to be seen (of about 40 planted). Watch those pesky mice, grapes, it's never happened to me before, but there's always a first time. Luckily I have a few spare seeds.

Hehe Flum, providing the next lot don't go the same way, I'll send you some seeds if you like. I thought it was only peas and sweetcorn the little blighters went for. Any tips for deterring the little furry creatures gladly received here! All at once I hear your voice

You could chain a cat up in your greenhouse (cat lovers will kill me!)
If you're serious about the seeds I'd love a few - just enough to get a crop of seeds for next year - 5 mebbe? I'll pm my address. Thanks in happy anticipation - maybe you should keep the next lot somewhere else?Whoever plants a garden believes in the future.
