Red Currant Leaf Blisters

My Red Currant leaves have red blister type things on some of the leaves.

Has anyone got any ides as to what this might be and how to treat it? I have picked off all the infected leaves.

Thanks Nicos.....my leaves have really bright red blisters, maybe my aphids are extra angry!!!!

Pick and destroy is what we do- stops the blighters flying off onto another plant!
