Where and How and when to Spray??

SOOO EXCITED!!!!

I see that my own OneBall courgettes are just beginning to develop nicely . :

This will be the very first thing that I have grown from seed ( toms were cuttings when bought ) Its amazing to see them change so much on a nearly daily basis .

Also what do I need to do if on my courgettes just after the flowers and fruit begin to develop I get an attack of blackfly ?? ( I presume ) Do I spray the whole plant or just the affected areas??

i have this on mine. i just rub off the most of them and give the affected area a squirt of organic pest control which is basically diluted soapy water so far as i can tell.works fine if you keep on top of it.
congrats of your courgetts though, i only started last year so i know how exciting it is when stuff grows like its suppose to!

If you're going organic, I too rub hm off with my fingers, although the other week they really did get rather bad so On Tuesday night I gave them a blast with a jts of water of the stems to knock them off.
