  • Sick looking Standard Fuscia

    Hello,

My MIL grew me 2 standard fuscias from cuttings, i followed her instructions to keep pinching out the side shoots and then the top once it gets to the height i want - which i have now done and it is just less than waist height. I am now going to try & get a ball shape going on the top but the leaves up the stem are looking a bit sickly, they are looking quite curly which i know they shouldn't be and just generally rather sad. They are sat in the kitchen in front of the patio doors but not in direct sunlight. Could anyone who knows anything about fuscias give me some tips or remedies please.

Hi Newbie, did you look at the underside of the leaves, sounds like they might be infected with some bug. Are you overwatering.? Is it too hot indoors for the Fuschia? Are all the leaves dying or just the ones up the stem.
Give me some more details and i will try to help. Fuschias can be great when they are happy but can be a nightmare if anything goes against them.

The leaves don't look like they are dying, the are still a healthy green colour and are not curled they would be if a catapillar was in them, just rather bent!
