Beer and Sushi

In an affort to combat the slugs further, yesterday I came up with the idea of trying chopped up, unrinsed seaweed around the edges of the beds, figuring that maybe the salt will put the little b*****s off? Not sure if it will work, but thought it was worth a try. Only hope the salt won't do too much harm (I normally wash it off really well).

It made me smile though as I checked my beer traps (really successful) - now my slugs not only have beer but sushi too!
