potato virus

Down on the allotment loads of people have a potatoe virus but only on the lady crystal potatoes, mine at the moment are ok and the ones grow inside the tunnels by others are ok the plants stop growing and the leave slowly die, anyone know what virus this is and why only the lady crystal

Possibly mosaic virus? the most common of many spread by aphids but still quite rare.....sure it's not blight? or maybe eelworm? Some varieties are suceptable to certain problems and better suited to certain land. Why is it you all grow the same? Is it usually a local favourite?

definatly not blight, and only in the lady Crystal

did you all buy the Lady Crystal from the same supplier?
Maybe infected stock?

If lady crystals are earlies they could be ready for eating by now
