  • Brassica White Fly

Last year I had big problems with whitefly on my brassicas.I know they can survive extremes of weather cos I had em all winter.
Dont want em this year, anyone got any organic methods of control?

There've been loads of posts on this. Have a go with your Search button. What worked for me was Tagetes (minuta: Mexican, but this year I'm going with the French version)

French marigolds are supposed to work, very pretty but have a horrible smell. Planted between brassicas they are supposed to put the whitefly off. We'll see. I've planted some with my allotment brassicas, and some in the greenhouse with the tomatoes.

Do they last all winter then cos that is when I seemed to have a problem?

If you can keep the numbers down during the summer, then the problems in winter should be so much less.
