Blasted whitefly!!!

I have been struggling with whitefly in my greenhouse all year. About three weeks ago, I came back from a 5 day holiday to find there had been a total explosion in there. My 8x10 greenhouse was chock a block full of plants as I have been growing various things to sell at my kids' school fetes. I took every single plant out, washed the inside of the greenhouse with my hose and I inspected and dealt with every plant before putting it back. I thought I had cracked the problem.

I now have less plants in there but the whitefly problem is getting bad again. I have tried spraying and squashing but desparation is setting in. Should I just clear all the plants out of the greenhouse for a few weeks? It would be a shame as I have tomatoes, peppers & chillies, but I can't stand the blighters.

There are two possible ways to do this organically.

1 Grow some marigolds along with your plants

2 Use a natural predator which you can buy and release in your greenhouse[a parasitic wasp me thinks]

Jools I grow loads of tagetes and have them in pots all around the greenhouse. They look great, but also keep the white fly at bay without resorting to sprays etc. Last year was my first with the greenhouse and I got plagued with them. So I was prepared this year!

Next year, sow as many tagetes as you can and just keep planting them in pots and keep them among your plants. I'm finding that so far (whistles!).......... I have not had a problem.
