    i got a mole in my veg garden its tunnelled under all my beet root and onions wat are they after or do they just like digging

    Just like digging after their favourite WORMS!!!!
    The greatness comes not when things go always good for you,but the greatness comes when you are really tested,when you take,some knocks,some disappointments;because only if youv'e been in the deepest valley can you ever know how magnificent it is to be on the highest mountain.

      and slugs, and any other nasty bugs in the soil, and they are actually really cute ....... just a pity they damage lawns and stuff

            The soil on top of a Mole hill is excellent for making your own soil based compost as it is stone free.All you really need to do is sterilise it.

              I'll second what Cloud said - collect the soil on top of the mole holes and use it to bulk up compost for seedlings. If your soil is slightly sandy, it's great for carrots.
