The soil on top of a Mole hill is excellent for making your own soil based compost as it is stone free.All you really need to do is sterilise it.

I'll second what Cloud said - collect the soil on top of the mole holes and use it to bulk up compost for seedlings. If your soil is slightly sandy, it's great for carrots.
