  • Any help would be great.....

    I've found an infestation of aphids on one my red cabbage (that where doing so well)....i've sprayed it with garlic/ soap solution and will continue to...but im concerned they'll move onto my other cabbage and other brassicas!!

    should i cut out the infested cabbage??? could it be saved??

    any help would be great!!!

    It can be saved IMO. Keep spraying and rub off the aphids; perhaps you cna even cut off the infected areas. Also spray your other cabbage at the same time.

        Just had another thought, usually the heart of the cabbage doesn't get affected anyway since the aphids can't easily get into the centre, so I reckon you will be OK.

          Find some ladybird larvae and move these onto the infested plants.
          Squish as many aphids as you can.
