  • holes in toms?

Hey everyone, my beef toms have holes at the bottom. Does anyone know why? My cherry ones are fine. I feed them every week

I think a lot of the beeefsteak toms are segmented and they resemble multiple tomato 'segments' joined together. This can sometimes leave a hole where they join!

I'm with Snadger on this. They look like they have a hole whereas it's just where the rough segments join up. One of mine had blossom end rot though. I wasn't amused!

Thanx guys but its the skin that's got the hole where the flower drops off at the base and you can see the inside but not the seed part its weird, hard to explain, anyway I'll keep them on and see what happens.
