  • Grasshopper/Cricket

My sprouts were covered in horrid grey aphids. I went to spray them today and found a big fat grasshopper in the middle of the leaves - and not an aphid in sight!
Is this a coincidence or have they all be eaten by my green friend??

I thought grasshoppers were vegetarians, but maybe this sort likes aphids. Sure it wasn't a Mantis? We get those where we visit in Spain, and apart from the front legs and the shape of the head, they aren't very different from a grasshopper. The clue is in the front legs.
Flowers come in too many colours to see the world in black-and-white.
