Yesterday I noticed that a couple of my peppers in the tunnel had small holes in. On inspection, I could see 'something' inside so I cut one carefully in two.
Inside were a few earwigs, what could be 'eggs' (but they were brown, and I thought earwig eggs were white) and what appeared to be a white caterpillar, about 20mm long.
So, the question is - did the earwigs cause the damage, or were they taking advantage of damage caused my something else? And is that caterpillar evidence of the 'something else' (sorry no pic, couldn't find camera)
Lastly of course, any ideas for an organic way to stop the 'hole maker', whatever it is?
Any ideas?
