Snail Orgy

With the weather being wet & warm at the moment the snails which are roaming my garden are getting a little frisky. I caught these three in the process of mating on the back step the other night & despatched them to the bin in a bag (didn't separate them - they were having too much fun!). Apparently the white blobs are where they join together & exchange sperm & each one then lays eggs (hope no-one's eating their lunch reading this!). Just a warning that they are breeding & we should all be vigilant & despatch any eggs (& snails) which we spot.
