      Why has this thread made me think of that clip where the woman is "hand pollinating" that rude looking plant...

              I started this fred in honest good faith of expecting an experienced gardener coming along and telling me just how well it works to smear vaseline on your member - erm I mean leek - to prevent it from rusting..and what do I get....

                                Just wondered.........didn't see the program, so was he using vaseline on the leek that was already affected with rust as a sealant, or was he using it as a preventative measure?
