  • Nematodes and Watering

    Good morning, all.

Last night I applied slug nematodes to my metre square raised bed. I just wondered how often I have to water the raised bed to keep the soil moist as advised on the packet. It's sunny but cold as we live on a Welsh mountaintop.

And when they say keep the soil moist, do they mean all of it, or just the top layer?

Many thanks in advance. Thought I'd give it a go as my neighbour has used nematodes and said it worked a treat.

I water them every day for 2 weeks, to be safe.

I used them a few years ago with great success.
They basically ‘swim’ to get around so I just kept on watering!!
