On No two of my veg beds are covered in vole holes,any advice peeps

but wont they eat the roots of my veg growing in there? I would't hurt the either but is there ant way of scaring them away

Awww voles are cute, I've got loads of em too - but can't bring myself to hurt them so i leave them alone

Put up a nestbox for barn owls....... There are 2 things retricting the number of barn owls in Britain (currently about 10% of the historic level). lack of nest sites, and lack of food. Their preferred prey is voles (although not necessarily the same sort you have, but worth a try) and barn owls are fascinating creatures.Flowers come in too many colours to see the world in black-and-white.Comment

How do you know they are vole holes ? i found very small holes the other day at the lottie.Gardening ..... begins with daybreak

I had loads of voles in my last garden. They're just lovely - but they weren't in my veg beds. I had owls and foxes too, so I just left them all to get on with it.
I think I would just wait and see if the voles are actually doing any harm.
