  • lettuce attack

    Hi

I have some great lettuce that has overwintered and now has some green aphids or something the ones that don't fly and some blackfly that do fly. Is there a way apart from squashing them and spraying insecticide on, that I can get rid of them? I know ladybirds eat them but I don't see many,

    much appreciated

Spray with detergent solution? Or pick the leaves, wash and eat.

Rub them off while running a hose or watering can over your fingers.

Or pick the whole plant to eat, and soak it in salty water first.
