It Pays for these early morning observations. Just noticed Sawfly Larva on my Gooseberry's. Also lily beetles munching away.
    Evasive action taken.

    It does.
I have lily beetles on my baby lilies, aphids on nearly everything, and weevils eating the peas & beans.

Ha, I was going to post that I saw sawfly larvae on my gooseberry today.
Spent bl***dy ages picking the beggars off, and will have to do the same again for the next couple of days at least as all the ones I missed grow to huge proportions overnight. Grrr!!
The good news is that with the sawfly larvae out I reckon it must be time to start planting out my tender crops soon. Whoop!
Warning: I have a dangerous tendency to act like I know what I'm talking about.
