identify stinky weed ?

I only have to turn around and more of this stuff appears :-( Fortunately, its not in with the veggies, just flower borders at front of house and it seems limited to soil areas, not in the lawn. Delicate ferny leaves and pretty lilac flowers, but its everywhere and it STINKS !
It lifts out easily but Id like a permanent solution for it, considering concrete I hate it so much.
Can anyone please tell me what it is ?

Paulw - many thanks ! 'cranebill' was enough for me to find it. It is Herb Robert / Red Robin or in Washington State 'Stinky Bob' (Im with the Washington guys). It apparently repels mosquitoes, but I think Id rather be bitten than to deliberately smell of this.
Well, now I know what it is, I can maybe find out how to get rid of it !

Shame! I love it - it's a regular find on wildlife walks - I'd have it in my garden like a shot! I know it as Herb Robert too.

Ragged Robin -(Lychnis flos-cuculi) is a totally different plant to Herb Robert (Robertiella robertiana) which is a type of geranium. I have lots in my garden bees and hover flies love it. I would prefer Ragged Robin though. (not just because it is my name)

If there is anyone who really does like 'Stinky Bob' and would like to have some, I would be happy to send you some if you PM me. Not sure how well it will cope with being parcelled up, but as I seem to have such a lot, I can try a few times to get it right ! I agree it looks pretty, but I really cant abide the smell.
