  • 'Baby' woodlouse ate my cuecumber?

My previousley healthy cue plant in the green house was found flopped on its side yesterday.
I pulled it up and found many tiny beetles less than 1mm long had gnawed the stem just below the surface.
To my mind they looked like little white woodlouse but couldnt count the legs propperly even with a lens as they were so small. Does anyone know if this is the likely culprit, and if there's a cure? Organic preffered, but will willngly chem them if not
as i've other peppers cuecumbers and tomatoes in there all doing well, and i don't want to loose them all!

I suspect a big fat slug or snail has done the damage and the little blighters got into the wound and took advantage. I wouldn't kill woodlice - they eat up rotting debris and mucky stuff. They are a friend, in my book.
