blimmin' pigeons

I guess I am lucky in that our neighbour has racing pigeons in a loft at the back of his house. They often fly over our garden, but I never see them land in it. Perhaps because they are so close to home and their dinner there.
This also seems to keep any wild pigeons off.
Got loads of lovely blackbirds eating all the snails nice .
Still netting the brassicas tho in case

[Hazel at the Hill]

The pigeons have had my peas - but interestingly, they seem to like some varietys better than others.

Both the peas in the pic below were planted out at the same time - but they've left the ones on the right alone, and decimated the ones on the left. Odd.

Oh, and they've eaten all the brassicas.
