That's what I thought! but I sure didn't plant any potatoes, although I suppose the kids may have sneaked some in.

I think your first one is some kind of willow herb, but don't take it as gospel, i've been looking at pictures of weeds for over an hour now...

You don't need to plant potatoes! They come up out of your compost peelings. First is a willowherb for sure.

Cornflower makes sense. That's where I planted some mixed wild seeds. Willowherb I rather like - as long as it's just 1 or 2!
It was indeed a Potato peeling.

hi migueli im afraid that although rosebay willowherb sounds romantic and almost as though it might be a useful herby plant - its not. It seems to pop up everywhere in my garden - whip it out before it flowers and seeds.
