  • Is there a good all round organic bug killer?

I'm looking for a good all rounder. Now, I realise that there are specific things for specific pests etc. and in which case in addition I'd ask: What organic sprays etc. do you all keep in your 'took kit' of bug killers?

This year I've already seen Blackfly, Greenfly, Cherry aphid, Vine weevil, Goosberry & raspberry sawfly, 'radish munchers'?

Anyway, it'd be good to know what you guys keep in your kit.

We used to have Derris dust but I think they've even knocked that on the head now!
The organic way is to squish em I spose!

I thought that may be the best way! We have cats and really don't want to go down the road of anything nasty. I've just been trawling the organic bug killer sites and see plenty of non-toxic stuff. The trouble is with some of these things is that they're also non-toxic to the bugs!!

Here's the site in case anyones's intersted.

Honestly, the best tools are your eyes and your fingers.
Check your plants regularly, and squish the bugs.

Agreed - and learn to recognise and encourage the larvae and adult forms of friendly bugs; natures predators will help you out tremendously.
