  • Small white eggs?

Just found some clusters of small white eggs on my parsley. Anyone know what they might be?

They are between half and one mm diameter, almost perfectly round and a pearly cream/white colour. The clusters contain about 12 and 40 eggs in turn. They are on the underside of one of the leaves.

Tried to get a good picture, but as yet haven't got the camera to behave as it won't focus easily up close - I have one of blurry white round eggs though.

have you got a macro button on your camera? It's usually got a tulip icon.

Sounds like slug eggs to me.(Are you sure you mean half to 1mm?) If they are packed very close they could be butterfly.
