I found one of those yesterday too, hope someone recognises it. -
Its a type of shield bug - they tend to eat sap/leaves although I never seen them do that much damage. Some shield bug species eat greenfly/caterpillars so I tend to leave them alone.Comment

I think these are immature nymphs of the green shield bug. They will get more shield-like and probably turn fully green.Comment
