Or possibly vine weevils - they curl up and drop off the leaves of the plant as well as jumping and have made lace of the leaves.
I could quite honestly cry right now - my entire garden has become infested overnight with them. So far they have pretty much destroyed my brassicas (a variety of successional sowings), are making good headway on my radishes, taken out my rocket, my spare seedlings and by the looks of where they are will soon migrate to aubergines, peppers and lettuces. Spose it does explain why things haven't grown too well this year if these things might have larvae attacking the roots too.
There's not much left to harvest now, and I don't know whether to bother to sow any more crops for Winter, as if they are just going to be eaten I don't think I can face it.
Is there any way of making them die?
