I've not seen a three legged animal for a while...and strangely enough managed to avoid running down a 3 legged dog yesterday ! That one had a back leg missing- and you'd never have guessed from the speed it bounced along!
Poor cat- still better than being dead I suppose!?
I wonder if it can still climb??...bet that would be nay on impossible???

I often tell people that I have one and a half cats. Everyone always asks how you get half a cat, and I have to explain that its enough various bits for one and a half anyway! They were apparently a bit chewed up by a roaming tom just after birth and we later got them as rescue pets. Tripod has three legs and one ear. Stumpy has four legs but no tail and most of his whiskers on one side are gone. So, seven legs, one tail and three ears in total, but a lot of patience and affection in both of them.
Interestingly, the one with three legs seems to have better balance than the one with no tail! He can certainly get up and down the stairs PDQ.
Woof
P.S. Just realised that unless the photo has somehow reversed, your cat and Tripod have the same corner missing!

Reason: leg-based coincidence
