  • Blossom end rot ???

I'm sure I've come across the phrase "blossom end rot" on here and it seems to describe exactly what seems to be happening to a high proportion of my courgettes.

What can I do about it? It seems a shame to lose so many

    Thanks

It's usually a term used to describe the brown and shrivelled end of a tomato and in that case is due to iffy watering.
In courgettes, it can be exacerbated by the damp end of the withering flower. Some years it worse than others. I find it helps a bit if you remove the flower as soon as it starts folding up.
