Hello,
Something has been eating my Sunburst Patty-Pan squashes, they get to about a couple of inches in diameter then mysteriously disappear only for me to find them several metres away half eaten. My as yet unripened sweetcorn cobs are also nibbled - this happened last year too.
My veg is grown in raised beds which are about a foot high and are beside a small bank with hedge on top that is home to Voles, frogs, Toads, Newts etc. There is also a large "wild" area behind the veg beds. Do you think it is Mice that are the source of the problem? If so, what can i do about them?
Many thanks,
