  • Kiwi - Won't grow

We have a self fertile kiwi which we have moved to our allotment. It wasn't doing brilliant in our garden but started to improve when moved to the allotment. Then after about 2 or 3 weeks, the new growth started to curl and shrivel up. It just keeps doing the same thing and won't grown even an inch. The leaves are brown and curled on the edges but the rest of the plant looks lush green. Can anyone give us and pointers?

Checked it again yesterday and the new leaf growth just starts to go brown around the edges, no sign of pests, it just seems to have stopped growing.

The same thing is hapening to mine, it might be due to either weather, soil or water. Kiwi like acidic watet and although this might sound stupid but by adding a bit of vinegar it does them alot of good. They need free draining soil rand i think that is the reason for mine. Normal dirt from ur garden is probably not rich aswell as being quite clayish. And weather they need a shelterer position. I would bring it in if i was you.

    Hope i was help
Dont judge a plant by it's pot.
