The little s*ds are getting smart: twice now they've managed to eat the Mars bar without triggering the trap.

I've just spent 20 mins trying to melt Mars bar in the microwave w/o setting fire to it (not easy)

Traps now primed and set again

We just got another one. It's slow-going, because they're pretty clever.

They've been managing to nick the bait without stepping on the sprung bit of the trap. Now I am melting Buttons onto it. Next I will try wrapping a piece of chocolate covered thread around the spike: the idea is that they try and pull the thread off, thereby triggering the trap.

          Little demons.
