    I understand that the Australian Animal protection people have prosecuted some tv programme for killing a rat.....w've had a number of discussions on the vine about getting rid of the little s*** so we had better all watch out!
    Me and OH killed a dozen plus last year.............

      I think it was more to do with it being a tame rat they 'planted' rather than a wild rat.

        here's the story: BBC News - ITV fined over I'm A Celebrity... jungle rat killing

        They kill (and eat) quite a lot of bugs on the programme, I don't see the difference (seeing as their point was that you shouldn't kill an animal for entertainment?)

          They paid a total of around £3,000 in fines and costs. You can't buy publicity of that magnitude for that sort of price. ITV are laughing.
